ADHD, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, can cause major problems.  It is not uncommon for children and adults to be forgetful, not be able to sit still, have difficulty paying attention and find themselves getting into increased trouble at school and work. Does your child have problems at school, in relationships, or at home ? Are they distracted, forgetful, and absent-minded?  Do they have trouble sitting still in class and completing their work on time? Maybe you have suspected ADHD. You might notice a combination of the following symptoms that occur consistent over time:

ADHD often is accompanied by:

  • Behind or under pressure in schoolwork
  • Feeling inferior to peers
  • Chronic disorganization
  • Problems remembering simple things

  • Anxiety or depression that comes from a compounding of these problems
