About Me

Michelle counsels individuals and groups to help them understand and overcome personal, social, and/or behavioral problems affecting their education or vocational situations.  She also helps individuals overcome dependencies, adjust to life issues including mental health, poverty, grief & loss, anger, unemployment, substance abuse, physical abuse, conflict resolution, rehabilitation, social adjustment,  stress, depression,  behavioral issues, parenting, peer relationships, self esteem, self-harming, sexual abuse, spirituality,  gender concerns, and assistance with resources.

Michelle truly enjoys guiding clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems. Encouraging words allowsthe client to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives. This will help the client to develop insight into ones-self and/or their relationship(s).

Michelle also provides special services such as vocational and career counseling classes that teach individuals how to build self-confidence and find inner peace through the demands of searching for employment. She conducts follow-up interviews with counselees to determine if their needs have been met.
