Patricia Pollock is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) in the State of Michigan, a member of the American Counseling Association and a member of the Monroe County Substance Abuse Coalition. She received her Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from Spring Arbor University in May 2011 and completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Toledo, where she received her B.A. Degree in Education and Organizational Development.
Patty has extensive training and experience in healthcare administration, management and human resource development, which has afforded her indepth knowledge about leadership and workplace relationships. She is keenly interested in helping individuals tap into their potential to flourish. Patty strives to assist individuals in obtaining a better quality of life by creating a climate in which clients can examine their thoughts, feelings and actions and eventually arrive at solutions that are best for them.
Patty completed her practicum and internship at Mercy Memorial Hospital System Family Behavioral Health Center, Monroe Michigan, where she received supervised training at a community mental health facility in individual and group counseling, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, domestic violence, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders for adults, anger management, suicide prevention, parenting, play therapy, social and life skills for adolescents and children.
With her specialized training and experience Patty is able to offer help to her clients with concerns of spirituality, mood disorders, self esteem, job related problems, stress management, goal setting, career exploration, communication needs, time management, coping skills, assertiveness training, women’s life transitions, work/life balance, facing chronic health conditions and personal coaching.
